Once you have chosen a puppy and been approved by us, we will ask for a deposit to hold the puppy of your choice. The deposit is half of the purchase price. We will place a deposit pending by the puppy on the web until we have received your deposit. At that time we will flag the puppy sold with your name designating the buyer. Puppies are sold in the order of deposits received to hold them. I receive a large number of e-mails about available puppies and there are times that several families are interested in the same puppy. I will mark the puppy "pending deposit" for 72 hours. This will allow time to get the deposit in the mail. If the deposit is not received within that time the puppy will be available again for the next person in line. It takes about 3 or 4 days to receive mail unless sent PRIORITY MAIL or UPS. I also receive funds through PAYPAL. The FULL PRICE of the puppy is due before the puppy will be transferred. All puppies are vet checked at 6-7 weeks by Main Street Animal Clinic before leaving us to insure that you are receiving a healthy new family member.
We can also change the name of the puppy to your chosen name. I only name the puppies to make things easier for me in keeping up with them. When discussing a potential adoption with a family I will ask several questions of your particular situation to allow us to make sure that the puppy that you have chosen is a good fit for your family. I spend tons of time with these puppies and by the time that they are ready to leave I know their habits pretty well. I can tell you what to expect from your new bundle of joy. We do not sell to brokers or pet shops. Our puppies are sold with limited AKC registration, full registration available only with approval. We do reserve the right to deny full registration on any given puppy.
Under certain conditions we will ship our puppies. It is not my normal preference for getting your puppy to you, but I will consider that method of delivery. I suggest that you fly in to the Birmingham airport and take your baby back with you on the flight as a carry on. I have done this to get a puppy home and it makes a much easier transition on the puppy. It allows all that time on the flight for bonding! Also, I will travel to meet you depending on my schedule and the distance.
