Mr./Ms.___________________________ (Buyer) has paid the seller the sum of $_________ on the ____ day of _________, 2010. The Buyer agrees to pay the Karen Lusk-Smith (Seller) the additional sum of $________ by the _____ day of __________, 2010.
If for any reason you are unable to follow through with your purchase, the required deposit to hold the puppy in Buyer’s name will be forfeited to the Seller.
This puppy is guaranteed to be in good health to the best of Seller’s knowledge at the time of purchase and has been started on permanent inoculations. All veterinarian care is given by Main Street Animal Clinic and you can contact them for any information on file, 205-655-0065. Buyer has 72 hours from the time of purchase to have the puppy checked by a licensed veterinarian and Buyer is strongly urged to do so. If the veterinarian finds the puppy has a serious health condition with the puppy, it will be exchanged for another puppy of equal value immediately, or when available. This exchange is conditioned upon the production of a letter from the examining veterinarian as evidence of the puppy’s illness and the puppy must be returned within 72 hours from the time of purchase. This guarantee of exchange due to serious health conditions of the puppy excludes Cherry Eye (considered a breed defect), submissive wetting and/or behavior problems. It is the responsibility of the buyer to train and socialize the puppy. Training starts the moment the puppy enters your home. Males should be neutered by 6 months of age. The Seller will in no circumstances refund any/or part of the purchase price to the Buyer. The Seller cannot assume any responsibility for the puppy once it has left Seller’s possession. Any and all cost incurred by Buyer in regards to the puppy, not just veterinary costs, are the sole responsibility of Buyer.
Buyer agrees and binds him/herself to take good care of this puppy, feed and home the puppy/dog properly through out the dog’s entire life. Buyer further states that he/she will NOT chain, tie or otherwise mistreat this puppy/dog. If for any reason Buyer can no longer properly care for this puppy/dog properly, Buyer must contact Seller immediately. Seller will take the puppy/dog back immediately and find it a loving “forever” home. Seller brought this puppy into this world and believes it is Seller’s responsibility to make sure it has a loving home for its entire life. All of Seller’s puppies are sold with limited AKC registration unless agreed upon otherwise. Limited registration means that this puppy is a “pet” and the puppy is sold WITHOUT breeding rights. This puppy should be spayed or neutered by the _____ day of ________, 2010.
